Andrea Dovizioso: "I'll do my best to make Lorenzo's life not easy"

The organizers forecast 250.000 spectators to arrive for the last weekend and tickets are already sold out. The 250cc class will be decided at the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana and Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo is leading the championship standings with 276 points, 13 more than Italian Andrea Dovizioso.

The Humangest Racing Team rider - who last Monday 23rd October received the ‘Collare d'Oro', as reported on DailyMotos.com - by winning the Portuguese Grand Prix at Estoril has taken the 250cc title race to final round. He is going to face the decisive event very focused and with a great motivation. Andrea knows perfectly that Lorenzo is still the favourite rider for the title as the Spaniard can be happy with a fourth place, but Dovizioso will do his best and fight until the last curve of the last lap.

Andrea Dovizioso: "It is hard to recover 13 points in just one race, but I'll do my best to make Lorenzo's life not easy. He is still the favourite rider for the title and the only advantage I have is psychological as I haven't got anything to loose and I can ride with less pressure. The breathtaking win in Portugal gave great motivation to the team and I think we will face this GP in the best conditions in a track where last year Pedrosa was able to do great things with this bike. It will be a tough race and my goal there is just to win, then we will see what happens.”

Team-mate Yuki Takahashi as well is very motivated, now he is sixth in the general classification with 156 points.
“Valencia is a track that I like and it suits with my riding style," says Yukio. "Also, during the winter test I was very fast so I face this GP with lots of hopes. This year my performances have improved a lot compared to 2005 and my aim is to finish in the best way this season also thinking about 2007. My goal is to get a podium-finish as I'm not achieving it since the Motorrad GP in Germany when I won the race.”
