Giovanni Bussei will run the next WSBK two rounds with the Team Sterilgarda

Giovanni Bussei fans will have the chance to see the Italian rider racing in the next two rounds of the World SBK Championship. Team Sterilgarda manager Marco Borciani lead the agreement in concert with Alfa Romeo, just in time to allow the pilot to be at the FG Sport Test, this weekend at Valencia.

Bussei will have at his disposal two Ducati 999 F06 with traction control, the same means used by Spaniard Ruben Xaus in the championship; two motorbikes which can permit to Bussei to be a protagonist of the event. The agreement will allow the pilot to be at the start of next two rounds in Donington and Valencia. Moreover on the British track it will take part the celebrations for the 20th year of Superbike.

Marco Borciani, team manager, "I'm really satisfied. I know Giovanni's worth, because I met him as rival on track. Closing this operation well into the season has not been easy. I would like to thank both Alfa Romeo and Ducati, which had an important role in training the technical staff which will follow Bussei. I want to be in Valencia soon, I'm sure that Giovanni can compete for the best positions of the ranking."

Giovanni Bussei: "I come back to Superbike World Championship in style. I will dispose of a first level structure and two opportunities to do well. I hope I'll get the best from the Valencia test, in order to be ready for the two rounds. Only after the races we will judge this experience properly."
