Live Nation, producers and promoters of the Ampd Mobile AMA Supercross Series, have announced that it has renewed its Supercross Sanctioning Agreement with the American Motorcyclist Association, to run through 2019. This agreement extends Live Nation's current sanctioning contract that covers both the AMA Supercross Series and AMA Arenacross Series.

Live Nation has been producing AMA Supercross events since the series inception over thirty years ago and the renewal of the agreement extends and continues the relationship. In addition to renewing its agreement with the AMA as the official sanctioning body of AMA Supercross, Live Nation and the AMA have also announced that they will be working cooperatively to promote the message of the AMA to the American motorcycling community.

AMA is the USA largest motorcycling organization, with more than 280,000 members; and sanctions more than 4,500 amateur and professional motorcycle competitions annually. AMA is also recognized as the representative voice for American motorcyclists, with AMA staff and volunteer enthusiasts actively involved in efforts to protect the rights of motorcycle riders by working closely with local, state and federal government elected officials, and with governmental agencies that regulate the activities of both road and off-road motorcyclists.

According to AMA CEO, Patti DiPietro: "The AMA is pleased to carry on our long term relationship with Live Nation as we continue our joint efforts to grow the sport of supercross. Live Nation has been essential and the driving force in helping to build AMA Supercross into the world's most successful off-road motorcycle racing series. Furthermore, we are pleased to have the support and expertise of Live Nation to assist us in promoting the AMA and AMA membership and to help spread the AMA message to motorcyclists throughout the United States.”

Charlie Mancuso, President of Live Nation's motor sports division, remarked that, "Our company has an excellent working relationship with the AMA. We have been there from the start of AMA Supercross in 1974 and are still here today, still totally committed to growing the sport. Our working relationship with the AMA has helped to develop a level of stability and outstanding growth for the sport that is recognized by supercross fans, racers, sponsors, teams and television viewers. We look forward to building on that relationship in the years to come."
