Red Bull and KTM to no longer continue the Supermoto Junior Euro Cup
Both parts have reached a mutual decision after a successful three-year partnership
In the future KTM will continue to lend support to young riders in national and international Supermoto sport competition. The intense relationship with riders like World Champion Bernd Hiemer, who in 2007, was also closely involved in the development activities also agrees with this idea.
“Together with our long-term partner Red Bull, we have been able to offer training for more advanced racing categories to a number of Supermoto talents during the last three years “ explained KTM Motor Sports Director Pit Beier. “Riders like René Esterbauer today operate successfully in the top classes of competition at national and international level,” he underlined. “My personal thanks also go to all the sponsors and partners who contributed to making this series a professional and successful cup competition for up-and-coming talent,” concluded the Motor Sports director.
