The French Federation announced the official 2006 Motocross of Nations French Team

Its the second time in the history of the Motocross of Nations that two brothers will race under the same team. © GPKR. The French Federation announced officially yesterday the French team for the 2006 Motocross of Nations, held this year in Matterley Basin, Great Britain. French manager Olivier Robert selected Christophe (MX2) and Sébastien Pourcel (MX1) alongside MX3 World Champion Yves Demaria.

Both Christophe and Yves will race in their usual class, while Sébastien will switch to MX1. He raced two internationals earlier this season with the KX450F, and train regularly with this bike.
Its the second time in the history of this prestigious event that two brothers (after the King's, from New Zealand) will race under the same banner. Christophe is selected for the first time, while Sébastien was involved in the 2004 edition. Alongside Antoine Meo and Mickael Pichon, he got a podium as the French team finished third overall. Last year, the french squad formed by David Vuillemin, Mickael Pichon and Sébastien Tortelli finished in second position down the USA Team.
