The Spanish Gran Prix will see the return of an historical team to the starting grid of the 250cc class. Humangest won't show as main sponsor of Andrea Dovizioso's team, so the Italian squad will be back to the historical denomination "Team Scot".

The Team Scot was born in 1992 when the rider Bruno Casanova got five times on the podium and finished eighth in the 125cc World Championship. From then on the team have always taken part at the World Championship and grown up many important riders such as: Carlos and David Checa, Noburu Ueda, Sete Gibernau, Roberto Locatelli, Arnaud Vincent , Emilio Alzamora and many other riders. The team have always achieved important results and the key moment was in 2004, with Andrea Dovizioso conquering the 125cc World Champion.

Two weeks after the World Championship MotoGP 2007 begin in Qatar, the 3 classes riders are ready to re-start in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, this weekend.

Former 125cc World Champ Andrea Dovizioso feels very confident for the Spanish venue: "Despite improves of Honda factory, in Qatar I suffered the Aprilia' superiority on speeding up. My team is working hard, we have capacities and in Jerez I'll make all my best to be ahead because I won't be satisfied by 5th position. Tests made in February were good, I got 3rd chrono and also because of this I'm confident."

Japanese rider Yuki Takahashi says: "On Jerez IRTA test I didn't try to find my better lap time but I aimed to recover myself and re-find the feeling with my bike. Now I feel very well and also Losail' results are evidence of my good physical condition, so I think I can get a good performance the next race."
