Carlos Checa: "It will be interesting to check the performance of the bike and tyres in Turkey "

Refreshed after a three week break and some intense training sessions, Honda LCR rider is eager for a return to racing

Carlos Checa: "It will be interesting to check the performance of the bike and tyres in Turkey " Carlos Checa this morning at the Istambul City Center. © Team LCR. Sixth at the previous race, the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez and after a three week break, Carlos Checa comments: "I'm ready to be back racing after a three week break and a lot of training, plus some time to relax, since my home race in Spain. At the Jerez test after the race we did a lot work with front-end set-up and tyre testing to reduce the chatter problem I have been suffering. We made some good progress. It will be interesting to check the performance of the bike and tyres in Turkey because there has been no pre-season testing here. The Michelin front tyres gave a positive result at the Jerez test, so this could be useful for the Turkey race."
